    Cons -

    • The receptionist, a rude and untrained personnel (unlike any we have ever seen in Warrick Palm Beach and we’ve been going there for over two decades), had no idea how to speak to the hotel guests. There was an over charge of $99 or $100 for the extra bed. We were in a hurry to go to the airport. We said we’ll pay the full bill less this charge, and let the confirm the mistake internally or communicate to us by email. If the communication proved to be correct , we’ll pay the extra 100$ (half the staff has known us for years and we have never had an issue with this great hotel). He started to get agitated, and said if you don’t pay, he will call the police (our bill over over $2,500). This was shocking that he would actually revert to such language with any guests. Anyhow, we didn’t have time to waste, we paid it, and went on our way, and left a bad taste not bc this Thawfik guy over-charged at that point, but because of the threats he started making against a guest. Absolutely shocking, and we reported this back to management and waiting to hear back. Again, this is not against the hotel or their lovely staff, this incident is specific to one rude individual called Tawfik S (I will refrain from putting last name as there is no need to). I hope this gets picked up by the management and opens a proper investigation into his actions.
    • Poor breakfast
    • The bathroom was in poor condition, and the room was extremely hot. We didn’t have access to control the AC, which was constantly blowing warm air

The location and the new Renovation they did

The pool closed while we stay we didn’t enjoy the facility although it was the reason for my booking

    10ArkanPosted on: 5-1-2025

It’s one of the best hotels in beirut, perfect location and very professional staff…

It’s a bit old but they are renovating

    7ClementinaPosted on: 4-16-2025

The hotel sits astride an historic sea front area that today is buzzing with traffic almost non-stop - no fault of the hotel. The views, ambience, breakfast and wonderful Hindi Restaurant are all plusses under the hotel's control but the general suffering of Beirut is impinging on the city generally. Not all are bothered by traffic but if you are you need a room away from the sea front to get some sleep.

Nothing the hotel could do about what the country has been - and is being - subjected to by its neighbours and expedient politics. Congratulations to them for surviving where so much since COVID and conflicts is disappearing.

The best hotel in the city so comfortable so relaxing Breakfast was amazing with the stunning beach view

Only indian food restaurant in the hotel

    7NaemahPosted on: 7-31-2024

The hotel location was excellent and close to different attractions, such as Zaytouna Bay where many restaurants and cafes were accessible. Doaa from housekeeping was wonderful and very helpful in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our room.

The rooms were not as expected in terms of rennovation as mentioned, they seemed a bit old, especially the bathroom.
